STILLWATER – Highlighted by 29 games with 2021 NCAA Tournament participants, the Oklahoma State softball team has made its 2022 season schedule official.
The Cowgirls open the year on the road at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Arizona from February 10-12. Oklahoma State is scheduled to play tournament host Arizona State, Duke, Utah, Cal Baptist and Missouri State
A week later, OSU packs its bags for the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational in Clearwater, Florida to play Michigan, LSU, South Florida, Washington and Northwestern.
The Cowgirls then head to College Station, Texas for the Reveille Classic from February 25-27. Oklahoma State’s opponents for the tournament will be announced at a later date.
In its 2022 home opener, OSU invites Stanford, DePaul and Minnesota to Stillwater for the OSU/Tulsa Invitational from March 4-6.
Oklahoma State will take on Minnesota in a midweek contest at Cowgirl Stadium on March 9.
Back on the road, OSU will play Central Arkansas, Memphis, Evansville and Southeastern Louisiana at the Memphis Tournament in Memphis, Tennessee from March 11-12.
The Cowgirls will make stops in Denton, Texas to play North Texas on March 15 and Arlington, Texas to play UT Arlington on March 16.
Back home for its last non-conference tournament of the 2022 slate, the Pokes will host Wichita State and UMKC for the OSU Mizuno Classic.
OSU opens Big 12 play with a three-game series against Texas Tech in Cowgirl Stadium from March 25-27; a midweek contest with Tulsa in Cowgirl Stadium on March 30 will follow.
Oklahoma State will take consecutive road trips to play Baylor from April 1-3, Wichita State on April 6 and Iowa State from April 8-10.
Oklahoma State returns home to welcome Kansas from April 14-16. Following a day trip to Tulsa on April 20, Cowgirls will play Texas in Stillwater from April 22-24.
Back-to-back road series with Florida State from April 29-30 and Oklahoma from May 6-8 round out the Cowgirls’ regular season.
The 2022 Big 12 Softball Tournament is set to take place from May 13-14 and the 2022 NCAA Softball Tournament will begin with the Regionals round, scheduled from May 20-22.
